| Kavinder Gupta is BJP candidate for Mayor’s post | | |

Kavinder Gupta will be the party’s official candidate for the post of Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation. Shamsher Singh Manhas, BJP, state general secretary today disclosed this and said that a decision to this effect was taken in a high level meeting of the senior leaders of the party held at Jammu.
Kavinder Gupta, presently Distt. president of Distt. Jammu BJP, has served the JMC as its first Mayor and the decision to field him again has been taken keeping in view his past experience, added Shamsher Singh Manhas.
He said that decision regarding party’s candidate for the post of Deputy Mayor will be taken later.
