| CCI, PHDCC delegation interacts with Director Industries | | | Jammu, Feb 27
A delegation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Committee of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry in its interactive session with the Director Industries and Commerce Jeet Lal Gupta here today has urged him to evolve a mechanism for quick disposal of files pending disposal in DICs for long.
The Chamber delegation led by its President Ram Sahai while referring to the problems being faced by the entrepreneurs and causes responsible for petty investment of Rs.3000 crore in the state compared to Rs.18000 crore in Himachal Pradesh, demanded early release of pending VAT refunds to the tune of Rs. eight crore, clearance of COIS cases pending from 1988-1995 and also finalization of cases relating to the capital investment.
The other points raised included subsidy on purchase and installation of DG sets, issuance of notification regarding location of Khasra of the industrial estates and the problems faced by the entrepreneurs to establish units on private land
