| STRC passenger fleet drivers resent action against driver | | |

The JKSTRC passenger fleet drivers have resented the action taken by the management against consolidated driver Mohan Lal, who has been recently disengaged from the service, because of an accident in which he (Driver) sustained injuries.
The drivers in an emergent meeting held here today described the action of the management as uncalled for and warned stir if the said order was not rescinded by March 10. The services of the concerned driver, the meeting felt, have been discontinued without ascertaining the facts leading to the accident, in which the driver sustained injuries. ‘Instead of granting compensation to the injured driver, the management has taken drastic action against him, the meeting regretted.
