| PTU demands early completion of Niwagan-Neel road | | |

State General Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Panthers Party Trade Union Sewa Singh Bali has impressed upon the Tourism Minister Mohammed Dilawar Mir to bring Sunseri, Sargali, Shardwhar and Neel Top on the State’s tourist map and develop these places as tourist spots and construct tourist related infrastructure at these places. He said these places apart from Pogal Paristhan of Banihal tehsil have vast tourist potential, and if developed fully, would attract number of tourists.
Expressing his concern over the delay in completion of Hiwagan-Neel road, Bali said that the construction work on this 16 KM patch of road was started during 1980 and despite spending crores of rupees on it, the road is yet to be completed. Demanding early completion of this road, he urged for holding an inquiry about the alleged misappropriation of funds allocated for this road project.
The NPP leader also demanded construction of TV and BSNL towers at Ikhral, Neel and Poghal .
