| Ousted Excise employees’ demonstration enters 27th day | | |
JAMMU, FEB 27
The indefinite peaceful protest demonstration by the ousted class IV employees of the Jammu and Kashmir Excise and Commercial Tax continued on the 27th consecutive day here today.
The ousted employees are pleading for their absorption in the Department on the same pattern as was done in the case of employees appointed in Agriculture Department.
The employees State President Adil Rashid Khan while addressing the protestors has urged the Chief Minister to personally intervene and save the ousted employees and their families from starvation.
Several other association leaders also addressed the protestors and expressed full solidarity with the agitating ousted employees.
