| FM chairs meeting of FA’s, CAO’s | | | Jammu, February 28
Minister for Finance, Planning, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Mr. Tariq Hameed Karra while presiding over a meeting of financial advisers and chief accounts officer of all the departments here today took stock of various issues relating to expenditure management and financial control.
The issues included monitoring of expenditure under both Plan and Non-Plan, monthly expenditure statements to be submitted to Finance Department by 25th of every month in respect of previous month, recast of demands for grants in accordance with schematic break-up so as to facilitate misclassification-free voucher level compilation programme in Accountant General’s office, classification of expenditure as per norms and also as advised by the Finance Department specifically, monthly report regarding pending AIR paras, O.B. items, Draft Paras and CAG Paras, action taken on the reports of PAC, estimates Committee, PUC and Finance and appropriation accounts, collection of data regarding works under execution and status of Administrative Approvals/Technical Sanctions thereof, update regarding Government Guarantees/Letters of Comfort and reconciliation with Accountant General.
The meeting was among others attended by Commissioner Secretary Finance, Director Accounts and Treasuries, Director Codes and Director Finance.
