In continuation to its drive against traffic violators, 19 more vehicles were booked for the violation of traffic norms in different parts of Doda District. The drivers of these vehicles were found indulging in overloading, violating route permit and plying without documents.
According to reports, 19 vehicles which include seven matadors, four passenger jeeps, two mini load carriers, a tempo, a car, a bus, a van, an auto and a motor cycle have been booked for traffic violation in different parts of District Doda. The drivers of these vehicles were found indulging in overloading, violating route permit and plying without documents. Necessary legal action against the drivers and the vehicle owners has been initiated. In this drive, so far 581 vehicles have been booked under different sections of Motor Vehicle Act.
