| JKDCUL distributes free milk to stranded passengers | | | JAMMU FEB-28 Jammu and Kashmir Dairy Producers, Processors and Marketing Cooperative Union(JKDCUL) distributed 3000 litres of milk free of cost to hundreds of stranded passengers at General Bus Stand here today. Agriculture Minister Abdul Aziz Zarger and Registrar Cooperative Societies Dr G N Qasba were present on the occasion. Rajesh Sharma Chairman J&K Cooperative Society appreciated the gesture shown by the Cooperative Union and appealed other agencies to come forward for providing services to fellow people from across the Valley, who had been stranded at Jammu, due to the closure of Jammu-Srinagar National Highway. Kapil Sharma Deputy Registrar Jammu, Jamil Chowdhary, Chairman JKDCUL, Ali Mohammed Chairman Kot Pannu Milk Producers Cooperative Limited, Tajinder Singh, Mohinder Dev Sharma, ex-Deputy Registrar, Anil Dutta, Parkash Veer Singh and Manjit Singh, were among others present on the occasion.
