| Draft plans under ATMA, RKVY, Technology mission discussed at Ang | | | ANANTNAG: Threadbare discussions were held regarding the Draft Annual Plan under ATMA, RKVY and Technology Mission for the year 2013-14, in a meeting of officers here today.
District Development Commissioner, Anantnag, Dr. Farooq Ahmed Lone chaired the meeting. All the issues regarding the formalities of plans under ATMA, Technology Mission and RKVY were also discussed. It was given out that the plan shall be framed as per the potential and resources of the district to avail maximum benefits.
Among others, officers of Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry, Sericulture and Fisheries departments participated in the meeting.
Meanwhile, District Development Commissioner Anantnag, Dr. Farooq Ahmed Lonetoday along with other concerned officers visited Government Degree College, Bijbehara and took stock of the construction work of college premises.
District Development Commissioner also visited PHC Arwani and took stock of the facilities provided by these institutions to the public. He urged the health officers and paramedical staff to work with zeal and zest so that the medical facilities provided to the general public are used in the most efficient way.
Later on District Development Commissioner also visited Government Middle School, Arwani where he instructed the concerned officers to reconstruct the school building immediately so that the students do not suffer any more. District Development Commissioner during his tour also decided to provide 500 kanals of govt land near Arwani road for the construction of a sports stadium. |
