Naib Tehsildar, SO granted seven days Police remand

Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu Mr. JR Kotwal today granted seven days police remand of Naib-Tehsildar Mohammed Rafiq, who was arrested by the Vigilance Organization while accepting Rs 20,000 as bribe money. Court also granted seven days remand of Section Officer Nasir Khan of DC Office whose house were raided by the Vigilance Organization and found that he was in possession of disproportionate assets to his known source of income.
Earlier, the Vigilance organization produced both the accused in the Court for remand which was granted by the Court. According to the sources, one of the accused has filed bail application in the Court today.
