| Kathua Industrial units penalized, Rs. 8 lac realized | | | JAMMU, MARCH 01
The Executive Engineer M&RE PDD Division Kathua conducted inspection of various industrial units in Kathua district.
During the inspection, it was found that the industrial units are using excess load than the sanctioned load. The units inspected include M/S Aman Paper Mill, M/S Suvi Cement, M/S Rattan Palace Hatlimore, M/S Bandana Food Products, M/S Future Tech, M/S Shiva Packing, M/S Chintpurni Engineer Works, M/S Wounder Tape and M/S Soinalace Paint sites at Industrial area Kathua.
The unit holders were penalized and a fine of Rs. 8.32 lakh under the Electricity Act/ Rules and Tarrif was imposed and recovered.
The consumers have been informed that all the industrial/ commercial units in Kathua district running with the excess load to revise their agreement and get sanction from the competent authority. |
