Six day orientation-training course for adolescent girls under Kishori Shakti Yojna organised by ICDS project Vijaypur conducted at Trail Bari Brahmana.
Nutrition Demonstration Officer, Mr A.K Bararu was the chief guest on the occasion stressed upon the trainees to make full use of the training course in their life. He also gave detained awareness about nutritional care of children, adolescent, pregnant and nursing mothers.
CDPO Rajeev Singh said that participants have been imparted training regarding adolescent, health, nutritional care of children, pregnant and nursing mothers, prevention of emerging endemic diseases among children, family welfare, child care, in effect of early marriage and pregnancy. They were also made aware of their legal rights, social abuses, prevention of dowry, domestic violence and policies for empowerment of women.
CDPO Vijaypur said that orientation training course would improve their health nutrition and social status. |
