| SSP holds meet with civilians | | | DODA, AUGUST-2-
To discuss the problems of the local people and take remedial steps on the spot, the Senior Superintendent of Police Doda Manohar Singh today convened a joint meeting of members of Beopar Mandal, transporters and prominent citizens of the district.
The issues that came under discussion related to illegal sale of liquor and drugs, ban on use of mobile phone by teenagers, stoppage of issuing driving licenses to minors without proper tests and increasing incidents of eve teasing.
SSP Doda assured the people that all possible measures would be taken to curb the menace of social evils adding that strict instructions would be passed on to the concerned agencies to get these demands examined and every steps taken to check illegal sale of liquor, drugs as also about issuance of driving licenses to the minors.
