In a joint statement Ram Singh Chouhan and Hari Krishen Tickoo state secretaries of the Samajwadi party have questioned the hollow slogans of Congress led coalition government regarding equal treatment to all the regions of the state particularly far flung and remote areas irrespective of caste, creed and colour.
SP leaders said that Padder area of Kishtwar having of population of about 35,000 souls stands totally discriminated with little development visible on the ground.
‘Warning government that such hollow slogans shall pay heavily to it in the ensuing elections’ the SP leaders said the constitution of Hill Development Council (HDC) for the entire Chenab Valley is the only solution to ensure all round development of far flung and backward pockets of Doda district.
