The newly elected MLC Murtiza Ahmed Khan was felicitated by the Pahari employees of the district and the Jammu and Kashmir Pahari Cultural and Welfare Forum at a joint function organized here today.
The speakers at the function expressed their gratitude to the PDP Patron, Mufti Mohammed Sayed, President Ms.Mehbooa Mufti and former Finance Minister Muzaffar Hussain Beig for giving representation to the Pahari community in the Legislative Council.
Describing Khan as dynamic, bold and out spokesman, the leaders hoped that he would continue to serve the community in a much better way.
Those participated in the function included Abdul Rashid Khan, District President, Sudharshan Sharma, Vijay Puri, Fazal Khan, Subash Sharma, KK Kapoor, Ghulam Abas, Shabir Hussain Shah, Mughal Khan, Barket Singh Azad, Lokesh Sharma and Nanna Suri.
