Unemployed Forest Graduates seek justice
3/2/2007 10:48:25 PM
JAMMU |March 02
The Unemployed Forestry Graduates Association held a meeting held today under the chairmanship of its President Javid Ashraf Choudhary.
It was revealed at the meeting that since the basic qualification for the posts of Forester was 10+ 2, with 10 bonus marks for graduates and 25 marks for B Sc Forestry, but some of the simple Science graduates from HNB Garwhal Srinagar Uttranchal, with just one subject in Forestry, have been given 25 marks instead of 10 marks. The meeting claimed that three year course with just one subject on forestry was not equalivant to B Sc Forestry which is four years course.
The meeting made a strong plea for reconsidering the criteria fixed for such candidates and appealed to the Chairman SSRB to personally look into the matter and do justice to the unemployed Forestry Graduates.
The meeting among others was attended by Arif Mirza, Parihar, Kunal, Rahul, Rauf, Shamim, Sanjeev, Mukhtar and Hansa
