| YWA flays SW for apathetic approach | | |

A meeting of Jammu Youth welfare Association held here today under the Chairmanship of Ashok Mahajan, Chairman of the Association. The meeting was attended by the office bearers and members of the Association.
While speaking in the meeting, Ashok Mahajan has expressed his grave concern over the slackness of the authorities of the Social Welfare Department in releasing the old age pension and financial assistance in favour of the deserving, handicapped, widows and infirm beneficiaries. Ashok Mahajan has further said that the matter has been time and again brought to the notice of the authorities of Social Welfare as well as to the Social Welfare Minister but the department has failed to extend the facility of release of old age pension and financial assistance in favour of the deserving beneficiaries.
He said that these deserving beneficiaries have been frequently visiting the Social welfare officers concerned for grant of old age pension and financial.
Assistance as committed and assured by the Government but it is unfortunate enough that these deserving beneficiaries are deprived by said facility.
The members have made an appeal to the government to look into the matter and ensure release of old age pension and financial assistance in favour of the deserving beneficiaries without any further delay
