A joint team of police and Army rescued the 69 passengers from Sadhna Top when their vehicles came under the threat of snow avalanches on Kupwara Karnah road.
According to reports, a joint team of police and Army rescued the 69 passengers which including 60 male, five women and four children, when their vehicles came under threat from a snow avalanche at Khooni Nallah near Sadhana Top. The passengers were traveling in seven passenger jeeps and a tipper.
The police team under the guidance of DySP Sonum Dachen worked till 2 of midnight and successfully evacuated the passengers. These passengers reach Karnah safely.
