| Bovines recovered from two vehicles, four held | | | Samba | Mar 2 Samba Police has recovered some bovines from two different places and arrested four persons in this regard when they were smuggling the bovines on load carriers during the last intervening night. According to reports, last night Samba Police intercepted a load carrier bearing registration number JK08-9339 carrying bovines at Mansar Morh. The driver-conductor duo of the vehicle identified as Harjinder Singh, son of Bahadur Singh of Nowshera and Rajinder, son of Puran of Barwal, Kathua were immediately arrested by the police. They were carrying these bovines to Rajouri from Barwal. Meanwhile, another vehicle bearing registration number JK02D-5914 was intercepted at Supwal in which one Mohan Lal, son of Bari Ram of Nandpur and Madan Lal, son of Atta Ram of Bishnah were carrying bovines from Jammu to Punjab. The duo was immediately arrested and sent to the lock up. Both the vehicles were also seized and the cases have been registered in this regard.
