| Rs. 16.55 cr provided under annual credit plan in Doda | | | DODA | MAR 02
An amount of Rs. 16.55 crore have been provided as loan for various income generating units under district annual credit plan upto end of third quarter of the current financial year for setting up of 2886 units under centrally and state sponsored programme.
Of this, Rs. 1292.98 lakh were provided under priority sector for 1872 units and Rs. 362.02 lakh under non-priority sector for 1014 units during the period as per the source of Lead Bank, Doda.
The credits provided encompasses all sectors under agriculture like crop loan, dairy, sheep/ mule units, poultry while under the non-priority sector the central and state sponsored programme are covered includes SGSY, PMRY, JKSES, SC/ST/OBC, SJSRY and KVIB being implemented for the unemployed educated youths of the district.
The highest loan has been provided under trade and service sector for Rs. 967.95 lakh for 820 units followed by agriculture sector for Rs. 204.53 lakh for 951 units during the period under report.
Under priority sector of agriculture, there was a target of 7230 units against the committed amount of Rs. 1200 lakh for the current year.
