District Congress Committee Jammu (Urban) has congratulated Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and PCC President Peerzada Mohd. Sayeed for selection of Narinder Singh Raju for the post of Mayor.
In a meeting of Distt. Congress Committee, Jammu (Urban) chaired by President Om Chopra it was felt that selfless services and dedication towards party have been recognized by the leadership in the selection of Narinder Singh Raju who is a non–controversial, well educated candidate for the post.
The DDC also appreciated the party corporators, legislators of Jammu City and party leadership for selection of proper candidate. The meeting was attended by D.S. Langeh, B.B. Gupta, Nek Mohd, Mansa Ram. Mohinder Panotra, Rashpal Singh, Nazir Ahmed, Amar Chand, R.K. Baja, Ram Malhotar, Pt. Jagan Nath, Harbans Bral, Youth Congress office bearers Pawan Raina, Deepak Dana, Narinder Gupta and M.S. Bedi.
