In continuation to its drive against the traffic violators, Doda Police booked 123 more vehicles in different parts of District Doda. The drivers of these vehicles were found indulging in overloading, violating route permit and plying without documents.
According to reports, 123 vehicles which include 29 buses, 28 matadors, 17 motor cycles, 12 Passenger jeeps, eight cars, six trucks, three load carriers, two tippers, two mini load carriers, two tippers and a tempo. Necessary legal action against the drivers and the owners of the vehicles has been initiated. In this drive so far, 704 vehicles have been booked under different sections of the Motor Vehicle Act.
