HUJI claims responsibility for killing of two men
3/4/2007 10:26:05 PM

Jammu | Mar 4
Militant outfit Harkat-ul-Jehad-Islami (HUJI) has claimed responsibility for the killing of two persons in Doda district, including the former bodyguard of a self-styled district commander of the outfit.
Posters put up by the group on local mosques bearing the signature of its "district commander" Della Gujjar alias Sher Khan in Kishtwar town in Doda district this morning, said it had killed the two as they had "deserted the outfit", official sources said.
The posters were removed by the security forces, they said. Two villagers, one surrendered militant Mohmmad Amin alias Shakeel Ansari, the body guard of Sher Khan and Ahmed Baksh, were kidnapped by the HuJI and taken to the house of one Mohmmad Ramzan in Bhandari Mohalla in Kishtwar tehsil on Wednesday night and killed by slitting their throats. Amin had surrendered to security forces a year ago.
