Dr. Ambedkar Studies Centre, Department of Sociology, University of Jammu will organize national seminar on Ambedkar and Social Justice on the March 7 and March 8.
Addressing the press conference, Abha Chauhan, Director, Ambedkar Studies Centre said that their main objective is to acquaint teachers and students with the thoughts, actions and works of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar.
She further informed that the seminar would have an inaugural session and valedictory session besides five other sub-sessions. The seminar will focus on sub–themes like social exclusion and inclusive policy, caste–class dialectics and social justice, Marginalization, dalit politics, assertion and identities and reservation policy .
The press conference was jointly addressed by Dr. Abha Chauhan, Director, Dr. Ambedkar Studies Centre, Prof. J.R. Panda, Head Dept of Sociology and Dr. Pritam Singh, Media Advisor, University of Jammu.
