| CCDU organizes PHE training programme at Tangdar | | | early times report
Srinagar, June 29: Communication and Capacity Development Unit (CCDU) in association with WEMTEP organized a day long training programme on June 26 for PHE officials under NRDWP support activity at Tangdar in Kupwara. The basic objective of the programme was the capacity building of PHE officials about drinking water testing procedures, water conservation techniques and management principles.
The programme was inaugurated by Executive Engineer, SSD (Special Sub- Division) Tangdar engineer Amin-Ud-Din, who laid stress on the importance of contamination free water in our daily lives. At least 84 participants registered their names for the programme.AEE GhulamMohi-Ud-Din Peer, in his address expressed his concern regarding the diseases caused by the contaminated water.
In his address Project coordinator, Muzamil Sofi, expected that the training programme will prove beneficial for the better performance of the trainees and for the welfare of the society with respect to water testing quality and monitoring in their concerned localities. |
