Nami Dogri Sanstha- the Art Foundation Members Dogra Harish Kaila S S Anand Lehar, Ramesh Rahi, Yash Pal Yash, Captain Laalit Sharma and Prithvi Raj Sharma have congratulated ML Koser Secretary Pracheen Kala Kendra for organizing two days Orissi Sandhya program.
Orissa has a glorious tradition of music and the figures of dancers and musicians have carved on ancient temple walls speak of Orissa’s rich heritage .Orissa music is the expression of deep felt emotions of life and thought of the people of Orissa.
With the idea to propagate Odissi music, Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh, which is engaged in promoting, preserving and disseminating Indian classical arts, in collaboration with Department of Culture Government of Orissa and Odissi Research Centre Bhubaneswar, organized a two day Odissi Sandhya program at Chandigrah for the first time where renowned artists from different parts of Orissa showed the finer nuances of Odissi music and dance at Law Bhawan Auditorium in Chandigrah.
