| Yatri Bhawan demands special train between Jammu-Haridwar | | | Jammu March 5
Jammu Yatri Bhawan, Haridwar has requested the Railway authorities to press into service one special train between Jammu and Haridwar on the occasion of "Somwati Amavas and first Navratra", falling on March 19, when a very large number of pilgrims from Jammu are likely to visit Haridwar, to take a holy dip in the river Ganga.. Pawan Shastri, President of the Trust, who personally approached the railway authorities, has asked for running a special train between Jammu-Hardiwar which should leave Jammu on March 18 evening and return on March 19.
Shastri has also asked the railway authorities to add additional coaches with Himkund Express running regularly between Jammu and Haridwar from March 15 to March 22, in view of heavy rush of pilgrims from Jammu who are expected to visit Haridwar during these holy days.
In the meanwhile, Jammu Yatri Bhawan authorities have asked all those devotees desirous to visit Haridwar during these days, requiring accommodation at Jammu Yatri Bhawan Haridwar to approach Yarti Bhawan office at Jammu, Mangat Ram Gupta Bhawan Kanak Mandi, Jammu, on phone number 2574881, 2562838, 2570998 for booking their accommodation latest by March 10.
