| Driver killed as truck falls into gorge | | | Rajouri, Mar 05
A driver of an army supply truck was killed after the vehicle he was driving, skidded off the road and fell into deep gorge at Kalidar near Pouni in Sunderbani area here this evening.
Informed sources told News Agency of Kashmir that a truck loaded with the goods of (ASC) Army Supply Core, 5121 battalion of Army was on its way to Rajouri from Pathankot, when it skidded off the road and fell 300 feet down into a deep gorge resulting in the on spot death of the driver of the vehicle.
Giving details of the accident Defence spokesman Col Goswami, told News Agency of Kashmir that a tuck carrying CSD supply of ASC battalion was on its way to Rajouri from Pathankot, when it met with an accident. He said the deceased driver has been identified as Bakshi Singh of Pathankot. However, it was not known whether the Driver was alone or not. |
