| Kashmir kids in Delhi: also to visit Mum, Goa | | |
UDHAMPUR | MAR 5
23 Students, both boys and girls, from Kupwara region of Northern Kashmir today met Lt Gen Susheel Gupta, Deputy Chief of Army Staff (IS&T) at New Delhi . These children are presently on a tour to Delhi, Agra, Mumbai, Goa, Pune and Jammu. For the first time ever, they had traveled by civil aircraft under Army's Operation Sadbhavna from Sri Nagar to Jammu yesterday.
In Delhi, these children have visited Qutub Minar, Delhi Haat, India Gate and shall visit Mughal Garden, Lal Quila and Rashtrapati Bhawan besides traveling on Metro Rail tomorrow. The tour will take these children to the historical monuments of Agra, the economic capital of Mumbai to the beaches of Goa and the visit to the National Defence Academy at Pune. They are also scheduled to meet Governors of Goa and Jammu & Kashmir during this twenty days tour. Speaking to the children, Lt Gen Susheel Gupta advised them to do well in the studies and become useful citizen of the country
