| Ousted class IV Excise employees’ protest continues | | |
JAMMU, MAR 06
The protest demonstration by the ousted class IV employees of the Excise and Commercial Tax continued on 34th consecutive day here today. The agitating employees are demanding their absorption on regular basis on the analogy of the Agriculture and Education departments’ employees who were regularized by the Government in July 2002 and 2003 respectively.
State President of the Employees Association Adil Rashid Khan while addressing the protesting employees has urged upon the Chief Minister to consider their genuine case without further loss of time as the employees are suffering badly.
Leaders of Employees Jammu Action Committee, G L Nanda, S B Bakshi , Nazir Ahmed Bhat and several others also addressed the protesting employees.
