Multiple Action Research Group, (MARG), a social organization today launched signature campaign in Panchayat Chack Tara and Salehar of Bishnah Block in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra, Jammu.
Large number of youth and prominent citizens of the area took part in the awareness campaign launched to abreast the people about the freedom struggle of 1857.
Several prominent citizens including Jeet Ram, ex-sarpanch, SS Charak and President MARG explained in detail about the freedom struggle and the sacrifices made by the countrymen. They impressed upon the people, especially the youth, to get themselves abreast with the sacrifices rendered by the people like Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, Laxmi Bhat for attaining freedom.
