| BCC Ramnagar hails widening of Roun-Ramnagar road | | |

The Ramnagar Unit of Congress party in a meeting held under the chairmanship of its Block President Bushan Modi has expressed its gratitude to the Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and PWD Minister G S Charak for launching an ambitious Rs.38 crore project for widening and up- gradation of Roun-Ramnagar road.
Addressing the party activists Modi and senior Pradesh Youth Congress leader R S Pathania said the widening of this prestigious road shall be a boon for the people of Ramnagar tehsil and also reduce the distance between Roun and Ramnagar.
Appreciating the Herculean efforts of the CM for getting this project approved by the Asian Development Bank in a short span of time, the Congress leaders appealed the Chief Minister to sanction adequate compensation to those whose land, shops and houses are being acquired for widening of this road.
These leaders also thanked PWD Minister Charak for starting work on Ghordi to Kotwalt road and said that this road shall be of immense significance for the people living in the hilly belts of Ramnagar tehsil.
Later, the party activists took out a rally to express their joy over the sanctioning of this prestigious Rs.38 crore road project and raised slogans in favour of the Party and the Chief Minister.
