UDHAMPUR, July 10: To grant approval of land rates which was acquired for 400 KV D/C Kishanpur New Wanpoh Line falling in Tehsil Udhampur and Chenani of District Udhampur through Private Negotiation Committee (PNC ) and other land acquisition cases under compulsory mode, the District Collector, Udhampur, Mrs. Yasha Mudgal convened a meeting of Collectors Land Acquisition and others concerned today. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Mr. Surat Singh , Assistant Commissioner, Revenue, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Dudu-Basantgrah, Collector Northern Railway, Udhampur, Collector Power Grid , NR-II, Jammu, Superintendent Engineer, PWD (R&B), Circle Udhampur, Project Manager, Kishanpur-New Wanpoh, Transmission Line , Anantnag, J&K were present in the meeting.
During the meeting village wise land acquisition cases were brought under discussion which mainly include villages Garnai, Kupad Chang, Neele Nallah, Kamble Danga, Hartiyan, Durbeh, Kathial, Kathial Jagir and village Madha of District Udhampur. The District Collector gave the approval of land rates against the classification as well as justification of land through Private Negotiation Committee (PNC) in favour of the land owners whose land was acquired for the purpose. . Besides issues pertaining to land acquisition progress of projects under PMGSY and NHAI were also reviewed in the meeting. |
