Udhampur, July 13: Police claimed to have solved a blind murder of one contractual laborer engaged by one MES contractor at Airforce Station Natnatop.
Pertinently, Shankar Lal S/o Fateh Singh R/o Latyar, Lander, Tehsil and District Udhampur was found dead on a bed inside his room with a rope in his neck.
Police arrested another co-worker namely Tirath Ram S/o Meer Chand R/o Kither, Udhampur who was there along with him on that very day.
During the sustained interrogation, the said suspect broke up and confessed to the commission of murder of his co-worker stating that the deceased worked used to abuse him of his daughter and on that very day also he abused him of his daughter in drunken condition and getting annoyed and irritated of that he strangulated him with his hands to death, bolted the door from inside and fled away after breaking the window pan. |
