Dewan Badrinath temple re-opened for public after 23 years

SRINAGAR, July 13: Dewan Badrinath temple in Fateh Kadal was today thrown reopen for public after remaining closed for 23 years. On the re-opening of the temple a Hawan was organized in which scores of people took part and prayed for the peace of the state.
The temple was being looked after and maintained by the 44th BN of Central Reserve Police Force. The Commandant of 44th BN B. Jai Krishnan along with the Commandant of 82th BN of CRPF, G D Pandharinath took part in the Hawan along with the President of Kashmir Temple Caring Committee, Bharat Raina.
CRPF officers, officials and some members of Pandit community took part in the Hawan and the occasion was festive. The participants of Hawan prayed for the overall peace of the country and the state.
