KARNAH : In order to review the availability of food grains and other essential commodities in Karnah Sub Division of district Kupwara, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Karnah, Mr. Zahoor Ahmad Mir today visited far off and hilly areas of sub division including Teetwal, Seemari, Dani, Saidipora and Gabra and took stock of availability of essential commodities. He also constituted a market checking team to be headed by Tehsildar Karnah to maintain the price line in the area.
Meanwhile, a prize committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of SDM, Karnah today which fixed the rates of essential commodities.
Accordingly, the rate for Mutton per kg has been fixed at Rs. 280, cheese Rs. 150 per kg, broiler chicken per kg at Rs. 125 and Layer at Rs. 90 per kg. |
