A plantation drive was today started by Pradesh Congress Seva Dal
under the chairmanship of of Balwinder Singh Sambyal. To mark the beginning of this drive Sabyal today planted a sapling in Govt. Girls School, Gandhi Nagar.
While speaking on the occasion, Sambyal advised the students plant atleast one tree to keep the environment green and clean, adding that trees are most beneficial to human beings.
The trees will be planted at Govt. Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Kendriya Vidhalya Gandhi Nagar, Girls High School, Shastri Nagar. Senior Congress Seva Dal leaders present on the occasion included Anil Sharma, S.S. Jamwal, Harinder Singh, Anil Kohli, Hardev Singh, S.S. Chib, Rajni, Krishni Raina, Anuradha Sharma, Chanchal Gandotra, Sita, Anil Sharma, J.K.Koul, D.K. Mehta, Ravinder Singh Nitu, Dr. Satish Sharma and Dr. Neena Gupta.
