Various organizations of Brahmins of Jammu region including Central Brahman Sabha, Dehati Brahman Sabha, Brahman Manch and Bhagwan Parshu Ram Dal have joined hands to form a single platform to fight against the maneuvers by some vested interest among the community to capture Dogra Brahman Pratindhi Sabha Jammu through farcical elections.
The action committee condemned the unconstitutional methods adopted by SN Sharma, who had managed to get appointed as receiver of the Sabha, replacing Dwarka Nath Shastri. The committee appealed to all the enlightened members of the Brahman community to stand against the politicians capturing the Sabha for their vested interest.
