| Lok Adalats held at Bandipora, Handwara | | |
BANDIPORA: A Lok Adalat was held under the Chairmanship of Principal District and Sessions Judge, Mr. Mohammad Ali Khan at District Court Complex Bandipora here today.
As many as 31 cases of civil, matrimonial, croreiminal and labour were taken up, out of which 15 cases were settled amicably during the said Lok Adalat.
The Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bandipora, Mr. Manjeet Singh Manhas and Munsiff Bandipora, Sheikh Gowhar Hussain besides the Senior Advocates and litigants were present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, the Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Handwara today conducted a Lok Adalat in the Court premises of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Handwara. The Lok Adalat was chaired by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Handwara, Mr. O.P. Bhagat while the Munsiff Judge, Senior Advocates from Bar were present on the occasion who witnessed the court proceedings.
