| Hyder urges party men to remain in touch with masses | | | Kathua, March 06 Former Deputy Speaker Legislative Assembly and senior NC leader Ghulam Hyder Malik has stressed upon the party activists to remain in close contact with the masses and highlight their day to day problems for early redressal. Addressing two block committee meetings of his party at Bani and Lohai Malhar, the NC held UPA government at the Centre and Congress led government at the state responsible for the present hike in the prices of essential commodities. During the meeting, the block committee members and other delegates highlighted several problems being faced by them in their respective areas and stressed for resuming developmental works, started during NC regime. They also voiced their demand for creation of Niabat, one each at Machedi and Lohai Malhar, besides, up gradation of high school Machedi, establishment of administrative block at Dugain , opening of Degree college at Bani, higher secondary school at Bhandar, high schools at Sandroon and Chandyhgar . Hyder, according to a party hand out, is reported to have assured the participants that their demands would be taken up with the government at the earliest.
