| Awareness program on diabetes held | | |

Dr. Jitendra Singh organized an awareness programme on diabetes in the Jammu University. In his survey in the university complex, the found that 50% faculty members of Jammu University have this disease, 30% of them have not knowledge about it. He presented report in which the analysis the rate of growth of diabetere in the whole India. In his reports, he described India as the “Diabetic Capital of the world”
India is the leading country having behind China & U.S.A. in the diabetere. He further highlighted about the factor’s responsible for this disease, Industrialization, Central Obesity, Age, Psychosocial dress, Genetic Susceptibility, Sedentary life style.
Dr. Arun Gupta speaking on this occasion, said that their main aim is to control and prevent diabetere. For this, they have conducted various camps. They further added that the membership of the persons wanted to remove diabetere should be reared. He said that quality of education can’t be completed without quality of health.
