| Women students from USA visit JU | | | Jammu A team of eighteen undergraduate women students from Simmons School of management, Boston, USA have visited the University from, as part of their 10 day India Travel course on ‘Cross-Cultural comparative Analysis of Women Leaders”. The objective was to sensitize the visiting women students on ‘cross-cultural issues in women leadership and reflect upon culturally sensitive management and leadership issues’. The students were accompanied by Prof. Vipin Gupta and Prof. Lynda Moore, from the Simmons School of Management. As a part of the programme they spent three days with the faculty and students of the University of Jammu in general, and the Business School in particular, at the university of Jammu. Simmons School of Management is the only Business School in the US designed for women with its vision to advance women into managerial positions. The trip was conceptualized by the University of Jammu and the Simmons School of Management during the visit of Prof. Vipin Gupta and Prof. Lynda Moore at the International conference on ‘Strategic Thought in the New Age management’ organized by thes Business School, University of Jammu.
