| Mystery shrouds CRPF jawan’s death | | | Srinagar, Mar 7
A jawan of Central Reserve Police Force died under suspicious circumstances in CRPF Camp at Shiraz cinema Khanyar, here today.
Sources told News Agency of Kashmir that body of Showkeen Singh (NO: 950B79175) of 96 Bn CRPF was found lying in his residential quarter, this morning by his colleagues. Singh was immediately rushed to hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
Police said that it has initiated proceedings under section 174 CrPC and was investigating the matter so as to ascertain the cause of death.
