| BGSBU to open Srnagar office | | | Rajouri:MAR 8 The Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri is going to open its Regional office at Srinagar and Vice Chancellor, Masud Choudhary will be inaugurating the office on March 10, 2007. This is in-tune with the efforts of the University to reach to every nook and corner of the state. Last session saw a huge response from Valley and nearby areas like Baramulla, Anantnag and other district of Kashmir Valley and sizable numbers of students applied for various courses. With the opening of the office the students from Kashmir who had to come all over to Jammu for the whole admission process would be benefited as the will be able to get the service right at their door steps. This office is also going to be of great importance for the students who are studying in the University as they would be able to get the first hand information regarding their academic matters from this office. The admission for Masters programes in applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Financial Managements, Computer Applications, Information Technology & Arabic would also start from March 12, and aspirants will be able to get admission forms and prospectus from the regional office. The University started its first academic session in August 2005 has become one of the most sought after destination for higher studies. The university have around 5000 kanals of area is fully residential and is providing state of the art infrastructure for the students.
