| VC launches six month Urdu course at JU | | | Jammu | Mar 8
Vice chancellor Amitabh Mattoo, inaugurated Six month learn Urdu certificate course launched by Centre for Professional Studies in Urdu, University of Jammu. The dignitaries who graced the occasion included Prof. Zahur-ud-Din, academic advisor to Vice Chancellor, Prof. Nusrat Ara chaudhary, HoD urdu, Prof Khurshed Hamra Siddiqui, Dr. Shohab Inayat Malik, Director, Centre for Professional Studies in Urdu, Minakshi Kilam, Director for Centre of Quality Assurance.
Prof. Amitabh Mattoo, VC lauded the efforts of centre for Professional studies for launching the Urdu certificate course for the non-urdu writing aspirants of the region. He particularly mentioned that the course would help the students in having grasp over the language.
Prof. Zahur-ud-Din in his presidential address stressed on the need of attending the classes regularly to achieve the objections. He congratulated both Director, M.A. Urdu, Professional Course and HoD Urdu for floating the new course.
Dr. Shohab Inayat Malik and Prof. Nusrat Ara chaudhary presented the vote of thanks and highlighted the contribution of Prof. Mattoo, VC for taking keen interest the getting six months learn urdu certificate course introduced. They also thanked Vice-Chancellor for his active support and guidance.
