| NC challenges PDP to test its credibility | | | Jammu | March 8 National Conference in a statement issued here today challenged PDP to quit the government and face the people to test its credibility as a political party before the people of the state rather than making statements which are of no consequence and are irrelevant. The National Conference said that after rejection of party’s demand for demilitarization by the Prime Minister the PDP is confused and totally shattered little knowing how to go in for a face saving exercise. He said PDP is and has been a stooge of the congress Party and its leader Mufti Syed and Mehbooba Mufti have been knocking at the doors of Delhi every now and then in a bid to stay in power as they know and understand that they have lost their mornings in Jammu and Kashmir. The National Conference spokesman said that if Mufti Sayed was so serious about demilitarization and repealing of Armed Forces Special Powers Act, why did he not repeal it while he was the Chief Minister and why did he not quit as the Chief Minister when he realized that he had failed to bring relief to the people of the state against the Human rights violations. The spokesman of the NC reiterated that the time is right that PDP should immediately quit the government and go to the people so as to know and understand who is superior.
