| APMCC to release CD cassette on encroachments | | | JAMMU MARCH 9
All Parties Migrant Coordination Committee (APMCC) today announced to release the first CD cassette depicting encroachments and illegal sale of the property of Hindu shrine in Kashmir valley.
Vinod Pandit in a meeting of the Coordination Committee said that the legal committee has finalized objections and suggestions with regard to the Bill seeking management of shrines, temples and other religious places of Kashmiri Hindus in the Valley including that of Pak-occupied Kashmir. He said a detailed report to this effect has been submitted to the government through Revenue Secretary.
Reiterating its demand that process of formation of Board be undertaken through elections process, APMCC Chief said no member should be nominated for the board. He said all trusts, boards, committees managing the shrine, caves, springs along with the movable and immovable properties including orchards and cultivable land should be handed over to a single management by virtue of this Bill.
