| Leopard killed by villagers | | | Jammu | Mar 09
Some villagers last night killed a leopard in Bashal village area near Gori Kund under the location of police station Chenani and police has also register a case in this regard. According to reports last night police booked a information that villagers killed a leopard in the area and a police party led by SHO Anu Sharma immediately rushed to spot and found the body of the Leopard in the area and took the body for postmortem and later body handed over to Wild Life Department. Police has also registered a case in this regard U/S 8/51 Wild Life Act and investigating the matter. Sources said last night leopard enter in the village from jungle area and try to attack villagers and people killed him.
