| PDP again stays out of cabinet meeting | | | Jammu | Mar 09 Peoples Democratic Party ministers today once again stayed out of the cabinet meeting reportedly to increase pressure for acceding to its demand of withdrawal of troops and revocation of Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA). Today, it was the second time that PDP boycotted the cabinet meeting after Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh turned down the demand of demilitarization. While the demand of withdrawal of troops has been coming from both mainstream and separatist parties including moderate faction of Hurriyat and National Conference, the increasing pressure by PDP over the issue has hanged the future of the coalition in balance. Informed sources told News Agency of Kashmir that the decision of remaining out of the today’s cabinet meeting was taken by the party on the instance of some ministers of the party. Presently, PDP have four cabinet ministers, besides four ministers of state.
