| Electric workers union calls on power Minister | | Agrees not to go for pen down | | Jammu | March 09
The representative of all Jammu and Kashmir Electric department Linemen and Workers Union led by its President Mr. Ghulam Nabi Bhat called on the Minister for Power, Mr. Nawang Rigzin in his office chambers today and submitted a memorandum about their demands. The Minister gave a patient hearing to the union leaders and assured them that their demands would be actively considered on priority and for this purpose he will be there in a high-level meeting on March 12.
He appealed the Union leaders to cooperate with the department and do not go for pen down/tool down strike to which the president of the Union agreed.
